A dancer caught mid-turn against near total black, one arm thrown up, head dropped, the red dress spinning out and breaking into flicks of orange at the hem. Artur gives you almost nothing else, no floor, no room, no audience, so the light on the shoulders and the ruffles carries the whole thing. At 90 by 60cm it is one of the larger canvases and it wants a dark wall.
