Half a face, cropped hard down the middle of the canvas, with the other half left as a plain field of grey-lilac. A heavy black brow, a hazel eye under long lashes, a red mouth, black hair held back by a yellow band. Artur paints the skin almost flat and saves all the detail for the eye, which is where the square sends you. Box canvas, 40 by 40cm.
