A half sun sitting on a black horizon line, the sky above it in hot pink, orange, yellow and lilac and the water below repeating it in looser strokes. Michele works quickly here and leaves every brush mark visible. The black line of the far shore is the only hard edge in the picture and it holds everything else in place.
