A standing figure wrapped in dark cloth from the chest down, head lowered, hair damp against the neck, painted in browns and greys with the light coming from behind. The support is an oval rather than a rectangle, which frames the figure closely and does away with corners altogether. Hangs as it is, with no frame needed. An unusual shape and one of the least expensive works here.
