A profile, dark hair drawn back with red carnations pinned behind the ear, a heavy gold and black hoop at the ear and a gold choker at the throat. Artur scrubs the background in black and white so it reads as movement, then keeps the face still and precise against it. Small at 14 by 19cm and supplied in a pale limed wood frame, 27 by 42cm overall.
