A weatherboard cottage with a bright red roof and a red door stands alone behind dune grass and a leaning post-and-rail fence. A sand path runs up to it with footprints still in it, the sea sits flat behind, and gulls cross the sky. Artur paints the boards silver-grey and dry, and saves the only strong colour in the picture for the roof. On recycled flat canvas, 35 by 50cm.
