Pamela Cooper - Author, explorer, artist
Pamela has worked in many different fields (banking, investment, property management, sales and marketing, legal), until finally becoming an artist at the age of 40. She had a successful studio in Noordhoek for some years, where the public could visit and see her at work, and she is honoured to have her art on walls around the world. The closure of Chapman’s Peak Drive left businesses in the doldrums, and she closed the studio for a while, relocating home.
Following this, she then concentrated on writing a few books, mainly travelogues. She is currently finishing a novel, painting, and doing freelance editing and proofreading. Now, self-employed, when she feels like it!
Pamela has been living in the quaint seaside village of Kommetjie on the Atlantic seaboard for 43 years now, where she draws constant inspiration from proximity to wild ocean, dramatic landscapes and vast open skies.
