A dark headland cuts in from the left under an apricot and slate sky, with pale wet sand and shallow water in front of it holding the colour of the cloud. Pamela works the sky in broken, scraped layers that leave the canvas texture showing, and keeps the foreground almost bare. Named for the stretch of Cape coast, and square at 30 by 30cm.
