Pamela Cooper

Pamela has worked in many different fields, from banking and investment to property management, sales and marketing, and legal, until finally becoming an artist at the age of 40. She had a successful studio in Noordhoek for some years, where the public could visit and see her at work, and she is honoured to have her art on walls around the world.

Following the closure of her studio, she concentrated on writing books, mainly travelogues. She is currently finishing a novel, painting, and doing freelance editing and proofreading. Now self-employed, when she feels like it.

Pamela has lived in the quaint seaside village of Kommetjie on the Atlantic seaboard for 43 years, where she draws constant inspiration from proximity to wild ocean, dramatic landscapes and vast open skies.
